Overall, Scalding Ice and Goldfire by Avie Adams was yet another great addition to the Lost Souls series. The world the author has created is so very unique and addictive. I really can't get enough these dark fantasy books. I loved it! I volunteered to review a free copy of this book. The cocktails on this weekend's menu are not advertised, but in past years Morris has presented cocktails like a "Corpse Reviver #2" with gin, cointreau, Lillet blanc, lemon and absinthe and a "Cloak and Dagger" with black rum, aged rum, lime and sugar. 7th St. NW. Tickets are $60 per person with a party max of six people. This is Avie Adams first book and let me tell you it is no joke, she is such an exciting writer with such a way with words. Right from the very first line till the end of this amazing book its as though Avie had a thread which she wove into a most enticing tapestry, complex both in the tale she weaves, the worlds she has created and her excellent characters.
